Job Description
Jumia, a leading pan-African e-commerce platform, is seeking a Last Mile Manager in Ghana. This role involves managing talent, designing CXP and VXP projects, and owning the last mile unit costs strategy. The Last Mile Manager will lead the scale-up of the last mile footprint, manage the 3PL community, and improve fleet management practices. They will also foster a culture of best-in-class material handling and lead key supply chain transformations.

What this role involves:
  • Managing the talent pool and building a strong leadership team in Delivery
  • Designing and steering CXP and VXP excellence projects
  • Owning the end-to-end Last Mile unit costs strategy
  • Contributing to the system roadmap design
  • Leading the scale-up and expansion of last mile footprint
  • Owning and creating the 3PL community management
  • Managing and improving fleet management practices
  • Creating a culture of best-in-class material handling
  • Leading key transformations in the supply chain

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operation
  • Experience in strategy and complex network management
  • Good Knowledge of the Logistical Operations in the local market is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts
