Job Description
Jumia, a leading pan-African e-commerce platform, is seeking a Performance Manager to join their team in Ghana. This role is crucial for overseeing process standardization, building reporting metrics, and improving the overall efficiency of warehousing, vendor, and logistical operations within the Supply Chain team. The Performance Manager will work closely with various teams to drive new process initiatives and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in understanding and using data models and systems.
  • Assist in creating KPIs and implementing systems for performance measurements.
  • Design granular dashboards using advanced Excel techniques.
  • Use order life analysis to monitor warehouse/logistics processes.
  • Provide system support and resolve issues for all tools used by various teams.
  • Lead training and rollout of new systems.
  • Drive new process initiatives and institutionalize tech changes.
  • Oversee daily reporting on incidents and SLA status.
  • Manage loss compliance and write-off guidelines for packages.
  • Train teams for new/existing processes.
  • Audit SOPs vs on-ground processes and improve deficiencies.
  • Manage emergency-related logistics issues.
  • Analyze and document customer/seller complaints.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics-Supply Chain, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations and/or vendor management.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional project execution.
  • Process-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills, leadership, and drive.
  • Experience managing teams or large projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
