Betsson Group is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead to drive technical excellence in its Marketing Technology products. This role bridges the gap between domain architects and engineering teams, facilitating technical design and delivery. The ideal candidate will support managers in building world-class engineering teams, research new technologies, and lead technical investigations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating system architecture.
- Performing on-call service.
- Choosing tools and technologies.
- Troubleshooting coding problems.
- Designing, building, testing, and maintaining CI/CD processes.
- Monitoring systems for malicious activity.
- Managing the IT infrastructure.
- Ensuring system availability.
- Integrating application elements (APIs, libraries, SDKs, etc.).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software or web development.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering (optional).
- Solid understanding of PHP / Python and JavaScript with modern frameworks.
- Culturally aware and sensitive.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong time management & organisational skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
