Senior Software Engineer - Onboarding

Job Description

BitGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Onboarding team in Toronto. This role involves building an API-first platform for businesses and developers to launch crypto products. The candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable APIs, owning functionality features from inception to deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. BitGo requires someone with strong experience in back-end development, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and RESTful API design. Role involves:

• Designing and building scalable APIs
• Owning functionality features from inception to deployment
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participating in code reviews

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of back-end and server-side development experience
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices
• Experience with unit and functional testing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
