Job Description
Policy Expert is seeking a Lead Insight Analyst to join their team in London. This role is based in the London office in a 50/50 Hybrid mode. The Lead Insight Analyst will report to the Head of Data Analytics and will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of Insight Analysts, setting high standards for analytical rigour, clarity, and actionability. They will also produce and oversee the delivery of high-quality, impactful analyses and insights that directly inform and influence business decisions.
The role involves:
- Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of Insight Analysts.
- Producing and overseeing the delivery of high-quality, impactful analyses and insights.
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify critical questions and analytical opportunities.
- Embedding the team within key decision-making forums.
- Facilitating clear communication and understanding of insights across the business.
- Collaborating with Data Engineering to ensure the Data & Analytics Platform provides the right data and tooling.
- Championing and promoting the adoption of analytics best practices.
Requirements:
- Seasoned analytics professional with proven leadership experience.
- Deep familiarity with insurance-specific analytics.
- Skilled in delivering insightful, actionable analysis.
- Experienced in embedding analytics within key business forums.
- Adept at translating complex analytical concepts into clear, business-friendly insights.
- Proficient with modern cloud data and analytics platforms (preferably GCP).
- Strong collaborator who can seamlessly integrate with various data disciplines.
- Passionate advocate for data-driven decision-making.
