Job Description
Fresh Prints, a fast-growing NYC-based custom apparel start-up, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of Operations Associates. This is a remote position based in Hyderabad, India. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving the business forward by managing a team, setting and tracking metrics, and ensuring the smooth delivery of products to customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven track record in operations and team management.
Role involves:
- Managing a team of Ops Associates (3-7 people)
- Managing communications with vendors & customers
- Managing escalations from the team and solving logistical issues
- Setting and tracking team metrics
- Ensuring all goals are reached
- Conducting one-on-one meetings with direct reports and manager
Requirements:
- A total of 5 years of experience in operations, with 2+ years in a team lead/people manager role
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to make decisions without direct supervision
- Ability to negotiate positive outcomes
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working night shifts (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST)
- Detail-oriented, natural leader, goal-driven, proactive & problem solver
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and open to change
