Job Description
Capital on Tap is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in London. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to work from the Shoreditch office 4-5 days per week for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week after that. The Business Development Manager will manage their own portfolio of customer accounts and be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to ramping up card spend and account management. This is a telephone-based role, primarily contacting SME owner-directors to sell Capital on Tap's business credit card.

What this role involves:
  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Handling the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting to account management.
  • Making 30-50 outbound cold calls per day.
  • Identifying target industries and organizations.
  • Prospecting into target organizations using various sales tools.
  • Updating and managing sales activities in CRM.
  • Achieving monthly KPIs and new acquisition figures.
  • Contributing to revenue growth through consultative sales.

Requirements:
  • 1-2+ years of telesales experience (ideally in B2B).
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Experience in a 360 sales cycle.
  • A proven track record of working to KPIs.
  • An understanding of SMEs and their financial workings.
  • Enthusiasm for building client relationships.
