Job Description
WPP is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This is an onsite role where the individual will deliver support services to WPP employees, agencies, and visiting clients. The IT Support Engineer will report to the Enterprise Technology Operations Lead and work closely with other teams within Enterprise Technology.

Role involves:
  • Providing on-site support to WPP agencies in Tokyo.
  • Providing remote support to WPP agencies across the wider region.
  • Ensuring IT deskside operations and standard technology services are delivered and supported.
  • Developing relationships with the business user base.
  • Logging all IT engagements into a ticketing system.
  • Onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Managing level 1 and 2 incidents and problems.
  • Managing and supporting user and office relocations.
  • Deploying hardware and software to end users.
  • Managing IT asset procurement, inventory, and lifecycle.

Requirements:
  • 3 – 5 years in an IT help desk / desk side support role.
  • Strong cross-platform experience in Windows and Mac, along with working knowledge of AV technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities appropriately.
