Basketball Trader - Sporting Solutions at Betsson Group

Sporting Solutions, a part of Betsson Group, is seeking a Basketball Trader to join their team in Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for pricing and trading various sports and events, with a primary focus on basketball. The role involves overseeing all stages of the market life cycle, ensuring quality assurance, and maximizing revenues while minimizing client contacts.

The candidate will report to a Senior Trader and will be involved in training and trading other key US sports. The role offers opportunities to explore various aspects of the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Focusing on expanding the in-house Basketball Player Props service through model manipulation.
• Preparing trading models for in-play events using accurate pricing variables.
• Monitoring partner trackers to inform price movements.
• Performing operational tasks to maintain efficient pricing and trading.
• Liaising with the Managed Trading Services department.
• Adding tags and comments on partner betflow.
• Ensuring accurate entry of in-play match data.
• Having awareness of wholesale client requirements.
• Reporting model/pricing/feed provider issues to the Senior Trading team.
• Communicating with Front Line Support during trading.

Requirements:

• Passion and excellent knowledge of Basketball (Euroleague and other major European competitions).
• Knowledge of American Football, Baseball, and Ice Hockey is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours (evenings and weekends).
