Job Description
Preservica, a world-leader in digital preservation technology, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and technical problem-solving, with a desire to learn and grow within the company. This role primarily supports US and Canadian customers, assisting with system usage, complex problem-solving, and relationship management.
  • Provide remote technical support to diverse customers.
  • Solve complex technical issues and replicate problems.
  • Manage customer relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in enterprise technical support or as a technical engineer in a cloud-based SaaS environment.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Understanding of web-based/Java application technologies (Apache, Tomcat, HTTP(S), web services).
  • Experience with network technologies and their troubleshooting.
  • Experience with databases, APIs, and basic scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Exposure to M365/SharePoint admin functions.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
