Job Description
Razorpay is seeking an Engineering Manager for Security Operations in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in leading and defining the security charter for infrastructure, endpoints, and security operations. The Engineering Manager will build and lead a high-performing team focused on defensive operations and platform resilience. They will also develop and maintain incident response plans and partner with various teams to implement secure configurations.
Role involves:
- Defining and leading the security charter for infrastructure, endpoint security, and security operations.
- Building and leading a high-performing team of security engineers.
- Developing and maintaining incident response plans, detection strategies, and escalation protocols.
- Partnering with platform, SRE, and IT teams to implement secure configurations and controls.
- Leading incident triage, forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes.
- Continuously improving visibility through security tooling, logging, and telemetry.
- Driving metrics-based reporting for operational excellence, incident trends, and risk posture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or security-focused roles.
- Proven experience leading teams in infrastructure security, incident response, or security operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud security (preferably AWS), endpoint hardening, and threat detection technologies (SIEM, EDR, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to execute in ambiguous environments with tight timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
