Job Description
Razorpay is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales for its Magic Checkout product. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle for e-commerce merchants, understanding client needs, and converting them into Razorpay customers. The ideal candidate will build and maintain a sales pipeline, forecast business goals, and demonstrate a strong understanding of the fintech market. They will also cross-sell and up-sell clients, use sales tools effectively, and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Owning the end-to-end sales cycle for e-commerce merchants using Magic Checkout.
- Understanding client requirements via phone/email and converting them to Razorpay customers.
- Building, maintaining, and forecasting a healthy sales pipeline.
- Ensuring maximum conversion rates through effective sales efforts.
- Cross-selling and up-selling clients as needed.
- Using sales tools to drive maximum sales efficiency.
- Achieving sales targets and challenging the competition.
- Negotiating with clients using competitor products and handling objections.
- Understanding client business use cases, industry, and volume potential.
- Working towards team and organizational objectives.
- 6-10 years of sales experience in SaaS or a B2B setup.
- Experience in the fintech industry (advantageous).
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- Experience working for a high-growth start-up (advantageous).
- Highly self-motivated and result-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
- Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
