Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Trainer to join their team in NoAm. The Sales Trainer will focus on onboarding and continuous training for sales representatives, enhancing their skills and overall performance in the NOAM region. This role involves mentoring salespeople, designing training courses, and preparing educational material to help salespeople develop their skills and achieve their quotas.

What this role involves:

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for new hires.
  • Conducting regular performance needs analyses to identify skill gaps.
  • Developing and maintaining tailored training courses, both live and self-paced.
  • Coordinating and overseeing training events.
  • Tracking training completion rates and recording key performance metrics.
  • Collaborating with sales managers to assess business needs.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly reports on new hire onboarding progress.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting training-related data.

Requirements:

  • Experience facilitating and creating training material.
  • Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms.
  • Agility and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in a sales, sales enablement, or sales coach/training position.
  • Thorough understanding of sales techniques.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
