Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join its Retail Team in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will build software solutions for merchants, working on various products based on their skills and preferences. This role involves owning features and high-leverage coding projects.Lightspeed builds new features on a modern stack, including web apps (Angular & React), GraphQL and REST APIs, Go services, databases, and Kafka topics, deployed using Docker in AWS.Responsibilities:
  • Building code, conducting code reviews, and fixing bugs.
  • Collaborating with product teams and defining MVPs.
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers.
  • Contributing to shared libraries and defining best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Golang, Ruby, Python, Java, or Node.js (Golang preferred).
  • Experience with React, Vue, Angular, or other JavaScript Front-End framework.
  • Solid Software Development experience.
  • Understanding of authentication, web security, models, databases, and APIs.
  • Willingness to mentor and train other Engineers.
