Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their Retail Team in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will build software solutions that provide merchants with the tools they need to thrive. This role involves owning features and high-leverage coding projects, contributing to shared libraries, and mentoring junior developers.Responsibilities include:
  • Building code, conducting code reviews, and fixing bugs
  • Planning and architecture, including estimating and collaborating with product teams
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers
  • Contributing to shared libraries and defining best practices
Requirements include:
  • Experience with Golang, Ruby, Python, Java, or Node.js (Golang preferred)
  • Experience with React, Vue, Angular, or other JavaScript Front-End framework
  • Solid Software Development experience
  • Understanding of authentication, web security, models, databases, and APIs
  • Willingness to mentor and train other Engineers
