Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their Retail Team in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will build software solutions for merchants, working on various products based on their skillset. This role involves feature ownership and accountability for high-leverage coding projects.Responsibilities include:
  • Coding, conducting code reviews, and fixing bugs
  • Collaborating with product teams to estimate and define MVPs
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers
  • Contributing to shared libraries and defining best practices
Requirements:
  • Experience with Golang, Ruby, Python, Java, or Node.js (Golang preferred)
  • Experience with React, Vue, Angular, or other JavaScript Front-End framework
  • Solid software development experience
  • Understanding of authentication, web security, models, databases, and APIs
  • Willingness to mentor and train other engineers
