Business Development Representative (BDR)

Job Description

BDA is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their team and support the SwagUp.com SaaS product. The BDR will be responsible for building new relationships, opening doors to key prospects, and introducing organizations to the modern swag platform. This role involves shaping a new strategy, experimenting with tools and channels, and learning what resonates with customers.

The BDR will:

• Lead with outreach, backed by data and creativity.
• Identify and engage qualified leads across targeted industries and verticals using multi-channel strategies (email, phone, social, etc.).
• Personalize outreach based on research and understanding of customer pain points.
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline through organized, metric-driven efforts.
• Contribute to SwagUp’s brand voice with content or messaging that feels fresh, authentic, and on point.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, and Product to continually refine what works.
• Stay focused on outcomes: new accounts, revenue impact, and strong client handoffs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ year of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Confidence using modern tools like CRM platforms, email automation, and LinkedIn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, resilience, and drive.
• A love for reaching out, starting conversations, and helping others see value.
