A sports trading company is seeking an International Horse Racing Trader with a passion for sports and betting to join their sportsbook team in Malta. The successful candidate will work within a team of 11 professionals managing and trading international horse racing markets.

The Role Involves:

• Compiling pre-match odds for Scandinavian Trotting markets.
• Actively trading in those markets.
• Overseeing the horse racing process throughout the event cycle.
• Monitoring incoming bets and manually reviewing bet requests.
• Efficiently settling markets post-events.
• Managing risk and performing detailed client analysis.
• Providing second-line support to Customer Service.

Requirements:

• Must be Malta-based or willing to relocate.
• Extensive knowledge of horse racing and bookmaking theory.
• Fluency in English and Swedish or Danish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in providing second-line customer support.
• Ability to collaborate with the branding team.
• A background in mathematics or statistics is desirable.
• Strong numerical ability regarding probability and risk distribution.
