Field Solutions Engineer

Job Description

SonicWall, a cybersecurity company with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer. The role involves supporting sales and channel technical activities, with up to 30% travel. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with hands-on experience in cybersecurity products and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Qualifying customer requirements and building bills of materials
• Conducting technical sales presentations and product demonstrations
• Building relationships with channel partners
• Maintaining a personal lab for demo requests
• Supporting partner product trials and proof of concepts
• Participating in beta testing and providing product feedback
• Teaming with support to preserve partner and customer relationships
• Supporting technical marketing initiatives and building collateral
• Developing expertise in SonicWall product areas
• Sharing best practices with peers
• Providing support for onboarding new solutions engineers
• Keeping regional sales informed of roadmap insights and product updates
• Adhering to company values and reporting tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience with MBA
• Cyber Security CISSP Certified
• Microsoft Azure or AWS Associate desired
• SNSA & SNSP SonicWall Certified (Training will be provided)
• Familiarity with governance and compliance issues
• Experience with L2-L7 networking technologies, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and more
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure
• Must be in The Netherlands
• Must speak English and Dutch to a professional proficiency
