Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Licensed Optician to join their team in Sarasota, FL. The Optician will play a crucial role in helping customers find the perfect eyewear. They will work directly with customers, taking measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear with accuracy. The Optician will also explain prescription terminology and product offerings, ensuring customers receive exceptional service. Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear.
- Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards.
- Explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
- Help customers choose the best frames and lenses.
- Collaborate with the team to improve sales and customer service.
- Represent the Warby Parker brand.
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
- Passionate about eyewear and retail.
- Clear, effective communication skills.
