Job Description
Podium is seeking a highly motivated and security-curious Security Engineering Intern to join their team in Lehi, Utah. This internship offers hands-on experience across various areas of information security, including Application Security, Cloud Security, and Security Operations. The intern will primarily assist with identifying, tracking, and remediating security vulnerabilities across Podium’s infrastructure and product stack.

What this role involves:
  • Assist with vulnerability triage and remediation coordination.
  • Analyze security findings from scanning tools.
  • Maintain security dashboards and internal tooling.
  • Participate in ad-hoc security projects.
  • Learn about common infrastructure and application vulnerabilities.
  • Write clear documentation and suggest process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in information security.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Powershell, Bash, PHP, or Elixir preferred).
  • Understanding of operating systems, networks, and cloud platforms.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
