Job Description

Anaplan is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves leading the sales activities for the highly flexible Anaplan platform to major manufacturing companies. The Enterprise Account Executive will report directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP) and manage 1-8 strategic accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value and drive sales growth.

Role Involves:

  • Identifying business challenges for major strategic accounts in the manufacturing industry (primarily automotive, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery) and proposing Anaplan solutions.
  • Conducting strategic presentations to VP-C-level executives (CEO, CFO, CRO, CIO, Supply Chain Managers, HR Managers, etc.).
  • Building and promoting account plans and opportunity management processes.
  • Executing sales activities using Anaplan's value-based sales methodology and providing accurate business forecasts.
  • Discovering and expanding cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Developing strategic sales plans and executing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Collaborating with sales development, marketing, solution consultants, and customer success teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting-based sales of SaaS solutions to Fortune 2000 companies.
  • Experience and proven track record of selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing multiple large contracts with an annual contract value (ACV) of 100 million yen or more.
  • Established and reliable executive network with customers and partners.
  • Experience in coordinating and promoting complex internal and external teams.
  • Contacts and network with department heads to C-level executives in the manufacturing industry.
  • Deep understanding and sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Business knowledge and practical experience (supply chain, finance, HR, sales & marketing planning, processes, decision-making).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Native-level Japanese language skills (conversation and writing).
