Velocity Electronics is seeking a Strategic Purchasing Assistant to join their team in Singapore. This role supports the Purchasing Department by providing administrative assistance and operational process improvements.
Responsibilities: - Maintaining and updating purchasing processes and procedures.
- Maintaining vendor management and qualification.
- Monitoring, reviewing, and auditing supplier reliability.
- Generating reports.
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of inventory records with suppliers’ reference data.
- Coordinating with the purchasing team and updating workflows and procedures.
- Assisting and updating vendor ratings.
- Assisting and updating trade referencing checking.
- Assisting in generating specific supplier and internal reports.
- Supporting the purchasing team with administration duties.
- Performing other duties as requested by management.
Requirements: - 1+ years of office or purchasing experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
