Job Description
Archer Aviation is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their Powertrain software team. This role involves developing safety-critical software components for electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will participate in planning, design, coding, and testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Responsibilities:
  • Develop safety-critical software components.
  • Participate in planning, design, coding, and testing.
  • Decompose requirements into high-level and low-level software requirements.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate complex hardware/software systems.
  • Perform software analyses, requirements-based testing, and structural coverage analysis.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency with C and Python.
  • Experience developing embedded software, preferably in a regulated environment (DO-178C or ISO 26262).
  • Familiarity with debuggers and lab instruments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Benefits:
  • Targeted base pay between $134,400 - $168,000.
