QA Automation Engineer II

Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a QA Automation Engineer II in Madison, WI, to lead testing and validation efforts for internal system applications. The ideal candidate will ensure reliability, functionality, and security by designing and executing test plans, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating with the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable test scripts.
• Automate functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Automate testing of RESTful APIs.
• Improve application stability and maintain functionality.
• Integrate, support, and maintain bug tracking systems (JIRA).
• Use source control tools (GitHub) and test case management applications (qTest).
• Provide accurate timelines for tasks.
• Generate and present quality metrics and reports.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in building and executing test plans.
• 2+ years of experience automating test scripts in Playwright or similar.
• 1+ year of end-to-end integration testing experience.
• Experience with Postman, JSON, XML.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies (SAFe & SCRUM).
