Job Description
PlayStation is seeking a SDET Contractor to join their team in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will contribute to PlayStation's global initiative by building innovative test automation systems. They will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products for millions of users.
Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and implement test plans and test cases.
  • Improve processes and generate new standards.
  • Partner with the dev team to ensure test coverage.
  • Develop and implement standard methodologies for in-house automation.
  • Maintain and improve existing Python and Selenium-based automation frameworks.
  • Author common APIs and libraries for test automation.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to build and maintain common services such as CI pipelines.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and completing test plans and test cases.
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced API and UI automation for web/mobile applications.
  • Knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript (Python preferred).
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
  • Experience with Selenium or Appium.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
