Job Description
Elite Technology is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Revenue to lead revenue recognition and order-to-cash processes. The Senior Director will partner with the Accounting, Billing, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, revenue recognition, and collections. This role reports to the Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate will be a team player, collaborating with finance, sales leaders, and service delivery to support the company's strategic objectives and growth plans.
What this role involves:
- Performing diligence on current customer contracts and aligning revenue recognition methodologies in accordance with US GAAP.
- Documenting processes and establishing key controls within the quote-to-cash cycle to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Collaborating with Sales and Professional Services, Customer Success, and Platform and IT teams to enhance and improve quote-to-cash processes and ensure GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Supervising the quote-to-cash, accounts receivable, billing, and collections teams.
- Managing monthly customer invoicing and revenue close processes and oversight across global order-to-cash processes.
- Assisting in revenue budget and forecast preparation.
- Assisting in US and statutory external audit efforts of revenue inquiries and providing required audit documentation and financial statement revenue disclosures and accounting policies.
- Partnering with product and accounting teams to ensure new product introductions are properly integrated into the revenue platform, contract management system, and revenue recognition tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field required.
- 7+ years of experience in accounting management experience, with at least 4 in software/service or SaaS sectors.
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP and ASC606.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce operations and interfaces.
- Experience in a global organization operating in multiple jurisdictions and functional currencies.
