Software Engineer (Golang + K8s)

Job Description

Acquia is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Platform Integrations team. The Software Engineer will help develop new capabilities that leverage Acquia’s cloud platform and core services. The team is focused on building the foundational services that power Acquia Cloud Next (ACN). The ideal candidate will be comfortable rapidly prototyping, learning quickly, and iterating on ideas to bring high-impact solutions to life.

Role involves:

• Working on core internal systems, tooling, and automations.
• Developing microservices with scalability and availability at their core.
• Contributing to efforts to revolutionize cloud-based product development.
• Maintaining an understanding of system functionality and architecture.
• Collaborating with team members to review work.
• Participating in Scrum software development lifecycle.
• Providing product support to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience with scalable microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (AWS preferred).
• Expertise in Go (Golang) for backend service development.
• Experience developing applications for Kubernetes and microservices-based architectures.
• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong interest in distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Enthusiasm for DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
