The company is seeking a Product Owner for Mobile Apps to join their development team. The Product Owner will be responsible for leading the development of industry-leading mobile apps, working closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and the wider product organization to continuously improve the apps and player experience. This role involves product responsibility for a development stream and taking the lead on key initiatives on the product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.
  • Actively lead or participate in product discovery activities.
  • Produce detailed product specifications in the form of user stories.
  • Inform engineering teams about prioritized work.
  • Provide product support to engineering teams.
  • Actively support roadmap planning and manage deliveries.
  • Ensure the product development backlog is properly organized and prioritized.
  • Contribute to the product vision and champion it with stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Communicate product status, progress, and upcoming milestones to stakeholders.
  • Hold effective presentations with stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective KPIs and data collection mechanisms are in place.
  • Ensure relevant product documentation is well maintained.
  • Perform user acceptance testing of new product releases.
  • Continuously review the live product to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of working experience as a product owner or product manager with digital, customer-facing products (preferably native apps).
  • Strong user experience sensibilities and familiarity with UI best practices.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in collecting requirements and producing product specifications.
  • Experience in the use of data, research, and testing to drive product development.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
