Product, Design & Research - Senior UX Researcher at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join their Product Development team in Malta. The Senior UX Researcher will be responsible for defining, planning, and conducting user research and testing. This person will collaborate with product and customer experience teams to deliver insights that drive data-driven prioritization decisions. The role involves innovating on mixed-methods practices, understanding business requirements, and ensuring continuous product improvement based on user feedback.

The role involves:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define research objectives.
• Recommending and implementing effective research methodologies.
• Developing research plans and leveraging available tools.
• Conducting research activities, exploring alternative suppliers and tools.
• Employing diverse methods to collect and analyze user behavior.
• Presenting research findings to cross-functional teams.
• Advocating for user-centric approaches in product planning.
• Documenting processes and maintaining a research insights repository.
• Mapping and optimizing user journeys.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to build a research roadmap.
• Assisting teams to perform competitor benchmarking and market research.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a Research role.
• BA/BS in a human behavior-related field.
• Applied knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Coding experience in R, SQL, SPSS, or Python is considered an asset.
• Proven ability to run remote usability testing and work with User Testing Platforms & Market Research tools.
• Proven experience in planning and conducting end-to-end usability research.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in helping establish a culture of evidence-driven decision-making.
