Betsson Group is seeking a Senior Product Owner to contribute to the continuous development of its sportsbook, ensuring its ongoing competitiveness. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative products and exceptional customer experiences within the gaming industry.
The Senior Product Owner will collaborate with product owners, commercial teams, third-party providers, and trading teams to establish and maintain priorities. They will also engage with delivery teams and various stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
Role involves:
- Generating and qualifying ideas to improve the Sportsbook product from an end-user perspective.
- Preparing requirements/user stories with detailed acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Maintaining comprehensive product documentation.
- Managing the backlog for sportsbook-related work.
- Supporting development teams to meet timelines.
- Representing the end-user perspective in cross-functional teams.
- Roadmap and release planning for sportsbook improvements.
- Defining customer experience and product specifications with UX/UI experts.
- Implementing analytics and tracking mechanisms to analyze customer behaviors.
- Communicating progress to stakeholders and management, and preparing release notes.
Requirements:
- Experience in the sportsbook product industry.
- Proficiency in owning and prioritizing product backlogs.
- Ability to break down deliverables, plan releases, and monitor feature performance.
- Experience in gathering data, documenting, analyzing, and collecting business requirements.
- Skills to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Problem-solving abilities to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Ability to spot flaws, optimize flows, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Adaptability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Capability to drive teams to success and work with minimal supervision.
