System Administrator

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a System Administrator to support key client projects within the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). This role involves assisting in the administration of services for various command and control information systems. The System Administrator will work as part of a team providing 24/7 support, closely collaborating with the OPSCEN and Centralised Service Desk, and delivering and maintaining end-user applications. The position is located in Northwood, Great Britain, and requires on-site work with shift patterns including nights and weekends.Role Involves:

• Assisting in the administration of services for command and control information systems.
• Providing 24/7 support as part of a team.
• Collaborating with the OPSCEN and Centralised Service Desk.
• Delivering, activating, and maintaining end-user applications.
• Executing patch management procedures.

Requirements:

• Very good general working knowledge of IT hardware and auxiliary computer equipment.
• Experience of Configuration Management and Service Asset Management.
• Knowledge of NATO Functional Services such as NCOP, Core GIS, TOPFAS, LOGFAS, AirC2IS, NIRIS, and MARITIME C2 Systems i.e. MCCIS.
• ITIL Foundation certificate.
• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
