Job Description
Appian is seeking a Principal Business Value Engineer to assess and communicate the value realized by top-tier customers from their software solutions. This role involves collaborating with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, and the Customer Success team to analyze historical data, conduct stakeholder interviews, and develop comprehensive value realization reports. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in quantifying the financial and strategic value of Appian's PaaS software solutions.
Role involves:
- Supporting the build-out of a high-performing Value Engineering team.
- Engaging with customers to understand their business challenges and objectives.
- Evaluating the ongoing value and impact of software solutions for existing customers.
- Quantifying the financial and strategic value of software solutions.
- Developing a structured methodology for assessing the economic impact of solutions.
- Collaborating with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Delivering compelling presentations and proposals.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in value engineering, business analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and analytical tools.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking.
- Proven track record of effective collaboration.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
