Field CTO

Job Description

Glean is seeking a Field CTO to serve as the strategic technical voice for the company. This role involves enterprise strategy, technical evangelism, and product influence. The Field CTO will work with prospects, customers, partners, and internal teams to drive adoption of Glean’s platform, ensure customer success, and influence product direction.

The Field CTO will bridge macro trends with Glean’s AI capabilities, crafting long-term strategies that position the platform as a transformational asset. They will guide internal alignment, ensuring sales, solutions engineering, and product teams focus on industries where knowledge fragmentation is highest. The Field CTO will also shape market perception, steer analyst narratives, amplify Glean’s wins, and elevate the discourse around enterprise AI.

What this role involves:

• Leading strategic technical engagements across pre-sales and post-sales lifecycles.
• Guiding and supporting the GTM team.
• Partnering with Sales to drive and shape deals.
• Serving as the executive technical advisor to top customers.
• Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and GTM.
• Leading industry conversations and representing Glean at events.
• Using frameworks like MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
