Job Description
Glean is seeking a Field CTO to serve as the strategic technical voice for the company. This role blends enterprise strategy, technical evangelism, and product influence. The Field CTO will collaborate with prospects, customers, partners, and internal teams to promote the adoption of Glean’s platform, ensure customer success, and shape the product's direction. He will act as a thought partner to CIOs and CTOs, a trusted advisor to sales and product teams, and a visible voice in the AI community.He will bridge macro trends with Glean’s AI capabilities, crafting long-term strategies that position the platform as a transformational asset for enterprises. He will guide internal alignment, ensuring sales, solutions engineering, and product teams focus on industries where knowledge fragmentation is highest. In the market, he'll shape perception - steering analyst narratives, amplifying Glean’s wins, and elevating the discourse around enterprise AI. Internally, he'll serve as a steward of the product, channeling customer needs into roadmap priorities and advocating for technical rigor.What this role involves:
  • Leading strategic technical engagements across pre-sales and post-sales lifecycles.
  • Guiding and supporting the GTM team.
  • Partnering with Sales to drive and shape deals.
  • Serving as the executive technical advisor to top customers.
  • Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and GTM.
  • Leading industry conversations and representing Glean at events.
  • Using frameworks like MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
