Betsson Group is seeking a Backend QA Engineer to join their Player Account Management (PAM) team in Malta. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the latest technologies and capable of handling company-critical responsibilities. The company is a market leader in iGaming, aiming to deliver the best customer experience. The role involves being part of a Scrum team, working on a scalable, multi-brand platform.

Role involves:

  • Developing a deep knowledge of the product to identify weaknesses.
  • Designing and developing automated tests.
  • Playing an active role in the ongoing requirement definition.
  • Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of issues.
  • Improving the Software Delivery process.

Requirements:

  • Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language, preferably C#.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
  • Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
