Bottomline Technologies is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring Bottomline’s software products, client communication, business process consulting, custom program implementation, troubleshooting, issue tracking and resolution, training, and other tasks necessary to execute the contracted services. This role involves working with the Project Manager and other delivery consultants, handling multiple facets of Bottomline software implementation projects for the Financial Messaging line of business. It is a technical, hands-on, customer-facing configuration, implementation, and delivery role.Bottomline is looking for someone who can translate creative ideas into plans, demonstrate a commitment to learning, and build strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities include: - Configuring Bottomline’s software products.
- Client communication and business process consulting.
- Custom program implementation.
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Providing training.
Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in the software industry, preferably in Financial Services.
- 5 years in writing SQL and stored procedures (e.g., PL/SQL, Indexes).
- 5 years in-depth knowledge of SQL Server architecture, T-SQL, and expertise in performance tuning and optimization.
- 5 years competence in tools like SQL Server Management Studio, Query Analyzer, and SQL Profiler.
- 2 years basic understanding of application design and security concepts.
- Ability to set up Windows IIS, manage task schedulers, and analyze service logs.
- Hands-on expertise in database administration/troubleshooting and new database installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
