Senior Designer (6 month FTC)

Job Description

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Designer for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Toronto, Canada. The Senior Designer will be responsible for designing experiences for a large-scale platform, focusing on visual and art direction, concepting, prototyping, and production. The ideal candidate is design-focused, detail-oriented, and excels at collaboration and multitasking.

• Contribute to the design and production of large-scale digital projects.
• Build presentations and craft documentation.
• Deliver asset kits to developers and other team members.
• Bring a fresh perspective to the team.
• Solve problems proactively.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in design and interactive work.
• Bachelor's Degree in design, visual arts, or related field.
• Knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, and interaction design.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and Design Systems.
• Advanced prototyping skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Foundational knowledge of After Effects.
• Strong public speaking skills.
