Betsson Group is seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer to join the organization as a Team Lead for the Brand Experience Area. This role involves leading a team of talented individuals and ensuring a positive team environment.

The Team Lead will assist the Engineering Manager in building high-performance teams and fostering a healthy team culture. The candidate will have an active role as a hands-on member of the team, participate actively in the team’s activities and take ownership of the team’s performance.

Responsibilities:

  • People management, including motivation, recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and personal development planning.
  • Close communication with POs, Architects, and stakeholders to discuss and implement business requirements.
  • Product development to meet business’s needs.
  • Proactive position in solution development and process improvements.
  • Taking part in the decision-making process in design or improvement of application architecture.
  • Suggesting technology or approach or solution, discuss it together with the team and decide which technology to use.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 1+ year of management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Agile methodology.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications.
  • Good understanding of modern web technology (JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular), familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL).
