Job Description
Axon is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join their RMS team. This role involves partnering with Key Account Executives to cover the largest law enforcement agencies in the U.S., driving discovery, strategy, and execution in complex sales of Axon Records and Axon Standards software.
- Act as a trusted advisor to law enforcement agencies.
- Partner with Key Account Executives to develop pre-sales strategy.
- Build and deliver impactful product demonstrations.
- Lead internal alignment across various departments.
- Identify and validate pain points in agency workflows.
- Set realistic customer expectations.
- Communicate the value of Axon’s integrated platform.
- Build long-term strategy across the territory.
- Represent Axon at public safety conferences.
- Maintain accurate data in Salesforce.
- Minimum 5 years of software sales experience.
- Solution or consultative sales experience in complex sales processes.
- Proven ability to drive adoption of disruptive technology.
- Able to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%.
- Experience working with public safety or law enforcement agencies (preferred).
- Knowledge of public safety technological needs (preferred).
- Startup experience (preferred).
