Senior Accountant, Europe

Job Description

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing global accounting team in London. The Senior Accountant will support the company's international growth plan and contribute to the improvement of internal controls and workflows.

The role involves:

• Supervising and managing Accounts Payable invoices, including liaising with external service providers.
• Reviewing VAT classification for employee expenses.
• Managing daily accounting operations, ensuring proper accounting treatment and allocation of expenses.
• Preparing journal entries for payroll, prepayments, and accruals.
• Supporting monthly closing activities in compliance with US GAAP for EMEA entities.
• Liaising with the US Finance team on AP/AR entries, POs, accruals, and prepayments.
• Assisting with compliance filings requirements like VAT, Intrastat, and statutory financials.
• Providing support for cash flow forecasting for EMEA entities.
• Maintaining strong collaboration with the global finance team and external stakeholders.
• Contributing towards the improvement of the company’s internal controls and workflows.
• Assisting the EMEA Controller and Accounting Manager with ad-hoc duties and projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of general ledger experience preferred.
• Part-Qualified/Qualified Accountant/AAT (tuition support is available).
• Experience working with external service providers.
• Exposure of working with international teams and for a fast-growing global company would be advantageous.
• NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay organised, yet remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Proactivity and the ability to foresee problems before they arise.
• Strong desire to keep learning new things in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication skills.
