Betsson Group is seeking a Frontend Engineering Team Lead to join their Budapest office. This role involves assisting the Engineering Manager in building high-performance teams by leading talented individuals and fostering a positive team culture. The Team Lead will actively participate in team activities and take ownership of the team's performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Building a team with the right mix of skills and knowledge.
  • Building a multi-brand Frontend Platform using MicroFrontends, Web Components, TypeScript, Reactive Programming (RxJS) and Playwright (for Quality Automation)
  • Direct line management of team members, focusing on performance, satisfaction, and career development.
  • Driving and facilitating the team's delivery in terms of time and quality.
  • Fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and quality.

Requirements:

  • A strong Frontend Engineering background or Quality (with emphasis on Automation).
  • Natural leader who wants to coach and inspire individuals to grow further in their career.
  • A good understanding of Scrum and Agile.
  • Someone who can balance their day-to-day workload efficiently between leadership, software engineering and SCRUM.
