Job Description

iFood is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing end-to-end data and AI solutions, utilizing tools such as Databricks, Airflow, S3, Redis, Sagemaker, and Kubernetes. The Data Scientist will work within agile methodologies, ensuring synergy with data and AI teams, and will be responsible for creating and improving machine learning models. They will also promote good development practices, including clean code, testing, and APIs, and present clear insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing end-to-end data and AI solutions.
• Using tools like Databricks, Airflow, S3, Redis, Sagemaker, and Kubernetes.
• Working with agile methodologies and ensuring synergy with data and AI teams.
• Creating and improving machine learning models.
• Promoting good development practices (Clean Code, tests, APIs).
• Presenting clear insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and API modeling.
• Proficiency in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses.
• Solid knowledge of cloud (AWS, S3, Redis, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical skills and storytelling ability.
