iFood, a leading Brazilian technology company in Latin America, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist. The company connects thousands of restaurants to millions of consumers daily through innovative solutions. iFood's services include food delivery, market, pharmacy, pet supplies, and financial solutions like iFood Pago.

The Senior Data Scientist will develop end-to-end solutions in a Big Data environment, utilizing tools such as Databricks, Airflow, AWS Sagemaker, Kubernetes, and Docker. They will build robust and scalable APIs in Python, applying clean code and automated testing. The role involves solving complex problems, proposing innovative solutions aligned with business strategy, and serving as a technical reference for junior team members. The Senior Data Scientist will also work on Machine Learning models, experimentation, and data analysis to generate value, configure modern development environments, and lead integrations with APIs and queues.

Role Involves:

• Developing end-to-end solutions in a Big Data environment

Requirements:

• Solid foundation in statistics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive)
• Experience with Python, software development practices, and cloud tools (AWS, Sagemaker, Redis, etc.)
• Proactive, self-taught profile with strong analytical skills
• Ability to transform challenges into scalable technical solutions
