Senior Frontend Developer - JavaScript

Job Description

Appnovation is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join its team in São Paulo. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting and solution-focused mindset and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.This role involves:

• Building web and mobile applications
• Providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients
• Contributing to architectural decisions
• Coaching junior developers

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, web and/or mobile development
• 2+ years experience as a technical lead
• Exposure to Python in the backend
• Strong understanding of vanilla javascript, ES6 as well as Typescript
• Experience working with Retool platform
• Experience working with HTML5 and CSS3, responsive design, flexbox, SCSS, SASS or LESS
• Proficiency building web components (for e.g. custom elements, shadow dom)
• Experience with third party UI libraries (e.g. PrimeVue, Bootstrap, Material UI)
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, processes and tools (eg. Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Travis CI)
• Understanding of Cloud Computing and Serverless Architecture, preferably AWS
• Understanding of agile principles and methodologies
