Senior Frontend Developer - JavaScript

Job Description

Appnovation is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join its team in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting and solution-focused mindset and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.He/She will be responsible for:

• Building web and mobile applications
• Providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients
• Contributing to architectural decisions
• Ensuring code quality and security
• Leading and coaching junior developers

Requirements include:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
• 2+ years experience as a technical lead
• Experience with JavaScript, ES6, and TypeScript
• Experience with Retool platform
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and SCSS/SASS/LESS
• Proficiency building web components
• Experience with third-party UI libraries
• Experience with unit testing and RESTful APIs
• Understanding of DevOps principles, Cloud Computing, and Agile methodologies
