Data Engineer (Data Warehouse) at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to the development of their Data Warehouse solutions. The role involves designing and developing the data platform to meet business needs and improve existing systems. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to design new data pipelines, maintain platforms, manage real-time API integrations, and apply transformations on data streams.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and evolving the existing data platform.
• Involvement in data integrations, including internal data, 3rd parties, and migrations.
• Ingestion of streaming data and applying transformations.
• Being involved in data modeling.
• Ensuring data quality.
• Keeping up to date on new technologies.
• Collaborating with Data DevOps, Business Intelligence, and other teams.
• Working in an agile environment.
• Troubleshooting and incident management.
• Full ownership on projects and tasks.
• Documenting processes and performing knowledge sharing sessions.

Requirements:

• Experience with modern cloud database technologies such as Snowflake.
• Experience with orchestrating data pipelines using Airflow.
• Experience with SQL and Data Integration Tools.
• Experience with any programming language like Python or Java.
• Knowledge on AWS Services.
• Development experience in both Microsoft and Linux/Cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
