Job Description
Eventbrite is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Event Creation team within the Creator world. This role is based in Spain and is fully remote. The Engineering Manager will lead a team focused on empowering creators with tools to build and manage event listings for both in-person and online events. They will collaborate with Design and Product teams to enhance event creation workflows, onboard new creators, and leverage AI to simplify event setup.

The role involves:
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of software engineers.
  • Driving initiatives for event creation workflows and AI-assisted tools.
  • Refining the software design lifecycle and upholding engineering standards.
  • Collaborating with Product and Design to define and prioritize roadmap initiatives.
  • Championing strong engineering practices and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Improving user experience for event creators using data and user feedback.
  • Encouraging ownership and thought leadership within the team.


Requirements:
  • Experience leading and inspiring cross-functional, agile engineering teams.
  • A solid technical background with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Comfort participating in architectural discussions and making strategic trade-offs.
  • Experience applying experimentation, rapid prototyping, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment.
  • The ability to recruit, onboard, and develop a globally-distributed engineering team.
  • An understanding of build/deployment pipelines and cloud technologies like AWS.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to work proficiently in Spanish and English.
