Job Description

Eventbrite is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join their sales organization. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and talented individual with creative problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a competitive drive.

The Strategic Account Executive will work with new contacts to bring them onto the Eventbrite platform, selling prospects on Eventbrite's unique value proposition and evangelizing their solution.

The Role Involves:

  • Exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual key performance metrics by selling Eventbrite solutions to large account and enterprise creators.
  • Delivering a value-based sales pitch to position Eventbrite as a strategic partner for prospective organizations.
  • Engaging clients on the phone or virtual meetings and may participate in face-to-face meetings based on need.
  • Creating, maintaining, and developing a sales pipeline through a combination of cold and warm calling, email campaigns, and industry knowledge.
  • Guiding lead generation initiatives with the SDR and marketing team.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources.
  • Working closely with product to understand new releases and time up GTM strategies.
  • Identifying and creating external partnerships to accomplish enterprise client needs.
  • Developing expertise in the ticketing industry by identifying trends, market challenges, and competitive offerings.
  • Representing Eventbrite at customer forums/conferences/panels to build brand attraction, thought leadership and market insight
  • Updating our CRM system with customer and pipeline data
  • Conducting accurate deal forecasting and revenue delivery
  • Effectively working with peers in the sales organization, customers, and vendors to interpret information and improve sales processes

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales with a record of quota over-achievement, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proven ability to execute on consultative sales methodology.
  • Firm understanding of how to identify target customers, evaluate buyer interest, recognize decision-making processes, handle objections, and close business.
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word, Google Drive and web based presentation technology.
  • Strong desire to work in an innovative and dynamic company.
  • Prior industry experience is required and ticketing experience is a plus.
