Betsson Group is seeking a Data Engineering Team Lead to oversee the operations team and ensure the seamless execution of day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven ability to drive team performance while maintaining effective communication among stakeholders.

The role involves:

• Establishing and communicating clear operational standards and performance metrics.
• Monitoring adherence to SLAs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive documentation relevant to operations.
• Developing a FAQ document to address common queries and streamline communication.
• Acting as a liaison between data teams and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and information flow.
• Organizing regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates on ongoing projects.
• Fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the team.
• Conducting performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support individual skill development.
• Overseeing the task backlog, ensuring that it remains prioritized and manageable.
• Coordinating task assignments and monitor progress, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Executing limited DO engineer responsibilities as needed, providing hands-on support where necessary.
• Collaborating with technical teams to solve operational challenges and improve processes.

Requirements:

• BA in Computer science.
• Preferably 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing datasets.
• Experience with scripting languages to automate and streamline tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident resolution methodologies.
• Reliability and strong accountability in managing data operations and supporting team objectives.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.
